For more than 14 years I have been helping people achieve their real estate dreams and goals.  Over time I have built a solid foundation of clients in my community through my professionalism, unusual attention to detail, and always communicating at the highest level of professional excellence with all parties involved.

 

With an extensive background in construction, I took the leap into the real estate business with the idea in mind to inform, educate and help as many people as possible learn more about the benefits of homeownership.  My favorite part of real estate is getting to know people.  I genuinely enjoy people and I enjoy learning what is going on in a person’s life.  I especially enjoy helping someone solve a problem or accomplish a goal or even help fill a need in their life.  As I was growing up, every once in a while, my father would say to me, “The greatest joy you will ever have in your entire life is doing things for other people and helping them.”  Throughout the years I have learned, my father was right.

 

Certainly, one of the most interesting things I have learned during my years in real estate is an expression I picked up from my lifelong friend who worked as an electrical contractor for many years, “Any piece of paper you sign (as a contract or agreement) is only as good as the character of the person who is signing it.”  Occasionally, some people do not always do what they have said they will do, even when it’s in a written agreement.  I am excellent at keeping everyone involved in a real estate transaction “on track.”

 

I love working with both buyers and sellers but in this present market, I prefer working with sellers and listing their homes for sale. It’s a lot of fast and hard work to get someone’s home and property presented on the market for sale with excellence.  I enjoy helping sellers get their homes “Market Ready” with as little inconvenience as possible.  Next, whenever the seller instructs me to go “Live” with their listing, I come running out of the starting gates to do all the work of the “John L Scott Listing Launch.”  It is a very creative and aggressive marketing activity that is performed with energy, enthusiasm, and expectations for great results!  Our John L. Scott approach to selling homes has proven itself as a winning strategy time and time again!  All that said, I still really enjoy working with buyers.  I always enjoy coaching people and helping them as we go searching for their perfect home.

 

I have lived almost my entire life in the Pacific Northwest.  Most recently my family and I moved to DuPont in early 2021. One thing I love about the community I live in is that everyone is so neighborly.  People wave to each other as they pass on the street.  Most residents here are quite active outside with their families, pushing baby strollers, people walking their dogs, and children on bicycles.  As I said, I really enjoy people.  It’s so great to see my neighbors outside enjoying each day together with their friends and families.

 

When not immersed in real estate I can be found every Sunday as a greeter outside my church in DuPont.  I have been a member of the church for over 40 years and I continue to stay active and participate in a wide variety of activities and projects there.
